▼Responsabilidades laborales
As an i Kids Star teacher, your primary role is to provide childcare within a bilingual kindergarten setting.

You will work alongside a Japanese homeroom teacher and, depending on the grade, additional staff to support up to 32 children aged two to six. Our schools emphasize both Japanese and English language and culture, with a curriculum built on three pillars: English, Japanese, and Physical Education.

Your responsibilities include teaching life skills and academic subjects in English (reading, writing, math, and language development), leading creative activities, indoor/outdoor play, and songs, as well as supporting Japanese language and physical education classes. You are expected to ensure students achieve their English learning goals in a safe, engaging environment where they can thrive.

【Primary responsibilities】
• Teach classes conducted in English in alignment with the curriculum.
• Assist with lessons and activities conducted in Japanese.
• Actively interact with students throughout the day.
• Collaborate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Model and promote friendly, enthusiastic, and professional behavior to create a positive learning environment.
• Teach and reinforce proper manners and basic life skills.
• Plan and prepare materials for classes using the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
• Support students with toilet training.
• Participate in physical education classes and outdoor play.
• Prepare for and participate in school events, such as field trips, open school days, sports days, and seasonal Japanese and western events.
• Provide feedback for parents, including writing individual student weekly comments and preparing report cards twice per year.
• Perform daily cleaning of the classroom and school as part of shared staff responsibilities.
• Support the smooth operation of extended childcare in the mornings or evenings and/or extracurricular programs as part of shared staff responsibilities on a weekly basis (paid overtime).
