At Alice Street we manage day service and short stays. The lively staff work through every shift so the clients look forward to coming every day. We are looking for staff who nurse patients with kindness and cheer. As Alice Street is a small family-like company, we would like to welcome you to take a facility tour before you come to work with us. We are looking forward to applications from nurses wanting start out in the nursing field or veterans used to the nursing business. Our day service usually begins with free-time: tea time, health checks, bathing, hobby time. We then have two recreation sessions sandwiched by lunch in the middle, and another tea time at 3pm. Clients go home around 4:30pm. For our short stay clients, we try to engage them in recreation activities and ensure they are not stuck in their rooms. Such activities include balloon volleyball, golf games, walking and crafts.
