Our company was founded by Senjiro Saito at the end of the Meiji period (1868-1912), and was the first in Japan to successfully manufacture 18-liter mechanical cans. Later, in line with the demands of the times, business with top Japanese companies such as Shell Oil and Mobil Oil was conducted, and the business grew, but it had to be temporarily suspended due to the defeat in World War II. Later, during the reconstruction from the defeat, the manufacturing technology of 18-liter cans and drum cans was inherited by our affiliated companies, and in 1954, our company made a fresh start as a manufacturer of cosmetic art cans. As time goes by, the diversification of containers is remarkable. Anticipating the future of packaging, we have introduced machinery and equipment, worked on technological innovation, and built up our capabilities as a manufacturer of all types of cans. Recently, as the effective use of resources has become an important theme in society as an environmental issue, can products are being reevaluated more and more as a resource that can be reused. As a result, the social demand for our company as a can manufacturer is expected to increase even more than before.
