▼Job Responsibilities
This job is a "surveying assistant.
Surveying" means measuring the size and shape of land and buildings.
It is very important when building roads and buildings.
<Outside Work
Go to a construction site (a place where buildings are being built).
Using survey equipment (GPS or laser), measure the height and size of the ground.
Senior workers will teach you how to do the work (you will work in teams of 2 to 3 people).
＜Work on a computer
Put the data taken outside into the computer and summarize them.
There is also the job of making drawings and maps using software.
Some software is used to create drawings and maps.
