At WinBe, Native English Teachers work alongside Japanese English Teachers as a team to support students in their studies.
Lessons with the Japanese instructors build the foundation, teaching listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a fun and friendly way.
As a Native English Teacher, your lessons will build on this foundation by teaching students how to practically use these four skills in a classroom setting. Teachers are responsible for managing the classroom while accomplishing level-appropriate goals by following a defined curriculum.
WinBe students typically range in age from three to 12, and classes are 50 minutes long with up to six students.
【Primary responsibilities】
• Deliver fun, engaging lessons in alignment with the curriculum and school expectations.
• Model and promote friendly, enthusiastic, and professional behavior.
• Ensure the establishment and maintenance of an immersive English learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with staff across potential language barriers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plan and prepare materials for classes using the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
• Teach and reinforce classroom routines, procedures, and rules of behavior.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks as part of shared staff responsibilities.
• Maintain tidy and organized classrooms.
• Complete student evaluations by the assigned deadlines and support the School Director with parent/guardian meetings.
• Conduct demonstration lessons and engage in promotional activities as required.
• Prepare for and participate in special events, including for Christmas, Halloween, Easter, spelling bees, speech contests, presentations, and more.
• Deliver customer service tasks outside the classroom, including interacting with all guests of the school between lessons.

Starting salary: ¥260,000 ~ (*offer condition is finally determined depending on experience)
• Work-related commuting costs reimbursed up to 15,000yen/month

▼Working Days and Hours
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Shifts consist of seven hours and 15 minutes of work with a 45-minute break (a total commitment of eight hours)
• Tuesday to Friday shifts: 12:00 to 20:00, 12:30 to 20:30, or 13:00 to 21:00
• Saturday shifts: 10:00 to 18:00
• Occasional weekend work for promotional activities and special events

Paid overtime may be required, depending on school needs or special events

• Regular day off based on shift
• Ten paid days of leave after six months of employment, in addition to national holidays
• Company holidays typically align with the three major Japanese holiday periods:
• Golden Week
