Job Description
▼Job Responsibilities
You will be working at a shaped steel mill in the Fukuyama area of JFE Steel's West Japan Works.
We will teach you the work carefully so that even beginners can feel at ease during training.
The job involves processing, inspecting, straightening, and managing steel shapes prior to shipment. In addition, you will cut large steel shapes used for buildings, ships, etc. to the required length, inspect them thoroughly for defects and bends, and correct defective parts by cutting and grinding. Separate from manual labor, you will manage delivery dates and construction schedules.
Initially, you will perform simple crane assistance (arranging square timbers called "mambo" on top of the product). As you gain experience with machines, you will be able to progress to new tasks- it will be a very rewarding experience!
▼Salary
Base salary: approx. 180,000 yen
Including overtime, late-night work, and allowances, the total salary is about 280,000-300,000 yen.
・Overtime and late-night premiums are as legally stipulated.
・Shift allowance, qualification allowance, commuting allowance, and other allowances are available.
・Payment is due on the 20th of the following month after the end of the month.
▼Contract Period
Contract for a maximum of one year (with renewal).
Renewal will be determined based on the individual's attendance and the company's internal and external environment.
▼Working Days and Hours
Working days: Approx. 22 days/month (according to company calendar)
Working hours
1) 6:45- 15:00
2) 14:45-23:00
3) 22:45-31:00 (7:00) or 18:45-27:00 (3:00)
Regular work hours (fixed hours) 8 hours
2 shifts, mainly (1) and (3). (2) is once or twice a month.
Break time 60 min.

Commuting allowance: Calculated based on commuting distance x unit price of gasoline (varies according to market price) (example based on current unit price: 500 yen for crane driver, 3,000 yen for crane operator, etc.) (Example at current unit price: 10km distance, 7,400 yen for commuting by car. Half price for motorcycles. Bicycle: 0 yen)
