Step1: Set Your Language Preference
First, start by setting the site to your preferred language.
When you click on the globe icon at the top right of the site page, a list of multiple languages you can choose from will appear.
Guidable Jobs supports 11 languages, including English, Portuguese, and Chinese.
Once you've selected your language, the site page will change accordingly. Now, let's move on to the next step.
Step2: Choose the Area
Second, choose the area where you want to look for jobs.
With Guidable Jobs, you can search for jobs in all 47 prefectures of Japan.
At the top of the page, you'll see popular prefectures listed. For other prefectures, simply scroll down. If you can't find the prefecture you want to select, you can also use the search bar to locate it.
Once you've selected and clicked on a prefecture, you'll be taken to a page showing jobs available in that area.
Step3: Sign up or Log in
Third, sign up for a Guidable account to search for jobs and apply.
When you click the "Sign Up" button at the top right of the site page, a page will appear where you can enter your email address and password.
Once you enter your email address and password, your registration will be complete. There are two fields to enter your password for confirmation, so make sure to input the same password in both to avoid any mistakes.
You can also sign up using Facebook or Line.
If you already have a Guidable Jobs account, click the login button and enter your email address and password to log in.
Step4: Filter Search
Once you've completed the registration, you're all set to start searching for jobs!
Now you’re on the page showing jobs in the prefecture you previously selected. Next, you can narrow down your search by specifying more detailed criteria.
You can filter your search by four criteria: municipality area, station, job type, and Japanese language level.
Once you've selected the conditions that suit you, click the search button. Jobs that match your criteria will then be displayed.
At the bottom of the main page, you'll also find featured and recommended jobs, so be sure to check those out!
Step5: Select Job
Look through the displayed jobs to find your ideal position.
When you click on a job, you can view details such as the working conditions and benefits offered.
If you find a job you're interested in, click the heart icon to save it, making it easy to revisit later.
Be sure to explore many different jobs!
Step6: Apply
Once you've found a job you'd like to work for, let's apply!
You can apply by clicking the "Apply" button located at the top right corner or bottom of the job page.
After clicking the "Apply" button, you'll proceed to the necessary confirmation steps.
Once you've completed all the necessary confirmation steps, your job application is complete!
You will receive a phone call within a week from the hiring manager. Until then, I recommend you to take some time to prepare for the interview!
