Are you interested in writing and editing?

Joining us for an internship in Guidable allows you to gain practical experience in writing, editing, proofreading, translation, design, social media content creation, and working in an international environment in Tokyo, Japan.

You'll be working in our editorial team, and collaborating with the marketing team.

Use your writing and editing skills in a work environment and gain practical experience under the guidance of our Head Editor. Experiment with content creation and put your ideas into action.

Work responsibilities may include: editing, proofreading, writing, research, fact-checking, discussing article ideas, translating, social media content design and creation, website management, freelance writer management and using other marketing tools such as email magazines. We'll work together to see which tasks best fit your skill sets and goals.

<Other details>:
- This is a paid internship! Not only will you gain experience, but we'll pay you too. We will also provide your transportation fees to our office in Nishi-Shinjuku. (Accommodation etc all other fees are to be paid by the intern)
- As our office is in Nishi-Shinjuku, applicants must reside in the Tokyo area or are looking to move in the near future
- Work hours will be discussed in the interview. We're looking for interns to work 4 hours, 2-4 days a week (Monday-Friday).
- Start date can be flexible but the sooner the better!
- There are Japanese members in our team so it's a great opportunity to put your Japanese to use!

- Opportunities to stay on as a part-time (open-ended contract) are available based on the results and goals of the intern

<Other information>:
- Applicants must already be in Japan and plan to stay for at least 3 months
- We are unable to sponsor visas for internships

1,100 per hour

▼Contract Period
Minimum 3 months, but 6 months or longer are preferred.
Opportunity to stay on part-time.

2-4 days a week, 4 hours a day (between Monday and Friday).
